Special EnRich for Life Program: Intergenerational Passover Model Seder with RTA Students at the Weinstein JCC

Join us for our 15th annual special Passover Model Seder. Participants will be celebrating by joining active adults and the 7th and 8th graders from Rudlin Torah Academy together in prayer, song and the traditional Seder meal. This program is open to all active adults who would like to participate. All faiths are welcome.

EnRich for Life and Food for Thought

Mondays

Ages 60+

The Weinstein JCC and Jewish Family Services have teamed up for our 7th season to create two innovative programs designed to provide older adults with a monthly activity that enlightens and engages. After the educational Food for Thought speaker series, adults can enjoy specially designed classes each month. Programs vary month-to-month and participants have the option to choose an “active” or “creative” track. Every few months, trips will be offered as well. Trips are free and transportation is provided, but RSVPs are a must.

The 5400 Club

Mondays

Ages 60+

This group, consisting of retired and semiretired men and women ages 60+ meets each Monday throughout the year. Each meeting features an outstanding guest speaker. Membership in the 5400 Club is open to all male/female Weinstein JCC members.

Grand Tones

Tuesdays

11:00AM - 12:30PM

Ages 60+

Preparations are always under way for performances at nursing homes, organizations, hospitals, churches, synagogues, and civic functions. The Grand Tones are now over 50 years running under the direction of volunteer music director Betsy Cockriel. If you love music but are not a singer, you are still welcome to join us just to listen, have lunch and socialize!

Ages 60+

This program meets every Tuesday year-round and is for adult men and women. The weekly agenda features programs including entertainment, guest speakers, current events, and intergenerational programs. GG members enjoy celebrating many of the holidays and events, including a Chanukah party with the Weinstein JCC Preschool children and a Sweetheart Day luncheon.

Wednesday Game Day

2 Wednesdays of each month: 4/3, 4/17,  5/8, 5/22, 6/5,  6/19

11:30AM - 1:30PM

Ages 60+

Join us one Wednesday a month for socializing and playing your favorite game. Whether you like to play Mahjongg, bridge, cards, Rummy Cube, Scrabble or do puzzles, this group is for you. Bring your friends and we will provide the table, and games or bring your own) Bring your lunch and we will provide the dessert, beverages, and fun!
