Pool Rules & Policies

  • No swimming without a lifeguard on duty.
  • No running or rough play.
  • Children under the age of 8 are not permitted in the pool area without an adult.
  • Children under the age of 5 must have an adult actively supervising them in the water.
  • Children who are not toilet-trained must wear a swim diaper in the pool.
  • Proper swimwear is required.
  • Excessive talking to the lifeguard is not permitted.
  • Consumption of food and beverages on the pool deck and in the pool is prohibited.
  • No glass allowed in the pool area.
  • Persons with open sores, skin infections or other similar conditions are prohibited from entering the water.
  • At the first sign of thunder, the pool will close for 30 minutes. Each additional clap of thunder or lightning will delay the re-opening of the pool 30 minutes from that point.
  • The pool area is reserved for members and their guests during open swim times.
  • Persons using the water slide must be able to swim and also meet the height requirements indicated on the penguin sign by the foot of the slide.
  • Weinstein JCC is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
  • Lifeguards have the right to enforce additional rules deemed necessary to keep patrons safe.
