We are thrilled to announce the launch of Jewish Family Theatre’s Second Stage, a fee-based youth performing arts education program designed to provide an immersive and professional experience for emerging theatre artists like you.

Second Stage is specifically crafted to guide and nurture young talents through the exciting process of putting on a show. With an accelerated rehearsal process, you’ll dive deep into the world of theatre and gain valuable insights into the professional world of performance.

Key Program Features:

Audition-Based Selection: To ensure a high level of commitment and talent, auditions are required for participation in Second Stage. This allows us to assemble a dedicated and passionate group of performers who are ready to explore their potential.

Rehearsal Process: With focused rehearsals and intensive training, Second Stage offers a timeline to replicate the professional theatre experience. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals to refine your skills and elevate your performance.

Show Production: Throughout the program, you will be actively involved in the creation of a captivating stage production. From script analysis to character development, blocking to choreography, and vocal training to ensemble work, every aspect of the production process will be covered to give you a comprehensive understanding of theatre.

Youth Performing Arts Education: In addition to the show rehearsals, Second Stage offers a structured curriculum that encompasses various elements of performing arts education. Through workshops, masterclasses, and discussions, you’ll broaden your knowledge, explore different aspects of theatre, and enhance your overall artistic abilities.

We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where you can grow as a performer and gain valuable life skills through the magic of theatre. Second Stage is open to youth aspiring actors, singers, dancers, and performers.
