Fitness: Workouts for Every Age & Ability

If you’re looking for a first-class fitness facility with a range of programs, then welcome to the Weinstein JCC! Our facility offers the latest equipment, impeccably kept pools and even multiple basketball courts. Our classes range from Pilates to Les Mills to deep water aerobics. And you can get all the fitness advice you need from our highly skilled personal trainers.

Athletic Wing Reopening Information

The Weinstein JCC Athletic Wing including the Lap Pool and Fitness Center is now open for member use! See below to view our reopening video and click here to read our FAQ document to help make your visit back to the Center the best experience possible.

Reservations are required and can be made online here or by calling the Membership Desk at 285-6500. We can’t wait to welcome you back to our Center!

Please Note:

  • Reservations can be made up to 72 hours in advance, up until 30 minutes before class or appointment.

  • Members are now able to sign-up for more than one exercise in one day (i.e. one fitness time slot, one lap swim), but we ask that members refrain from signing up for multiple times of one activity in a single day.

  • Using Sign Up Genius does NOT require creating an account, only an email address for tracking user reservations. If after signing up you receive an email invitation to sign up, click the View Sign Up button in the email to access the sign up.

  • Reservations for our Fitness Center and lap lanes can also be made at the above link or by calling our Front Desk at 285-6500.

  • Reservations for Group Ex and WELL classes are NOW OPEN, as well as for the Arenstein Gym and the Rec Pool. All reservations can be made at the link above! 

  • For the health + safety of all, a face mask must be worn at all times except for when working out or in the pool.

 

How to Make Reservations with Sign Up Genius

When you receive an invite to a sign up, you can sign up with or without creating an account.
If you receive an emailed invitation to sign up, click the View Sign Up button in the email to access the sign up.

For a standard sign up, click the Sign Up button next to the slot(s) you want to sign up for.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Submit & Sign Up button.

On the next page, enter your first and last name and email address. You do not need an account to sign up.
Depending on the sign up, you may be asked to fill in some other fields in addition to your contact info.
After you have completed the form fields, click Sign Up Now at the bottom of the page.

The Thank You page will display, indicating you have successfully completed the steps to sign up.
You can click on a calendar icon to add the item to your digital calendar.
When you enter your email address, you will also receive an automatic confirmation email. If you have an account, you can log in to your account at anytime to view your active and past sign ups.
From this page, you can also click Share with Friends to spread the word through Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest.

 

How to Cancel or Change a Sign-Up Reservation

Go to our Sign-Up Genius page and click on the "change your sign-up" link.

Choose which method you used to sign-up, and follow the necessary steps: 

If you signed up with a Sign-up Genius Account, enter your login information. Then click on your profile icon in the top right corner.

Then click on the sign-ups sub menu.

Then click on either the pencil icon to edit your sign-up (change the time, number of people, etc.) or the "x" to delete your sign-up.

If you signed up without a Sign-Up Genius account, follow one of the steps listed.

If someone else signed you up, there are also several options you can choose to resolve the issue:

At the Weinstein JCC, we’re committed to bringing our members top-level fitness facilities at a great price. Take a tour of our Fitness Center, and see the latest equipment for all of your fitness needs, like TRUE treadmills with 16 inch Envison Touchscreens, Precor® ellipticals, AMTs, Matrix upright, hybrid, and recumbent bicycles. Try our Octane Lateral X trainers, LifeFitness® Ellipticals, recumbent NuSteps, and Step Mills or hit the weight room featuring Cybex Eagle Resistive Equipment along with plate-loading free weights and state-of-the-art cable equipment.

 

The Fitness Center equipment features the latest technology, including built in televisions, fans and wifi along with larger screen televisions spread throughout the facility. Babysitting services are also available.

Track your fitness, set goals, compete in challenges, and get special deals on personal training and massages. Aimed at providing an improved health and wellness experience for all members, our Fitness Center is filled with a unique variety of people and purposes. With our state-of-the-art fitness and strength equipment, friendly personal trainers and an extensive array of group exercise and mind/body classes, our Fitness Center helps to motivate, inspire and keep members of all ages and fitness levels feeling their best. Balanced Wellness


Do you want to feel better physically, mentally and emotionally? Set goals and reach them in this 10-week session. You will see results! You will feel better! This 10-week session meets twice a week for high intensity workouts that are customized to each person’s fitness ability. Fitness and body assessments will be performed at start and end of the session to show how much you have improved.

This class will be livestreamed for those who would like to take these classes in the comfort of their own home.

Join us for this fun fitness class for the whole family. Take some time to unplug and get fit together this fall. (Maximum of 4 families.)

Guf Bari Healthy Body


In this fitness class, we will teach kids to have fun through exercise and healthy lifestyle changes. Studies show that children who simply move more each day have lower BMI’s then children that are primarily sedentary. Children today spend more time in their chairs at school and in front of electronics at home than at any time in our nation’s history. In this fun fitness-based program, children will learn fun exercises and healthy choices each week.

Join this class to learn the practice of yoga through games, stories, poses, and mindfulness exercises—all taught in a fun peaceful environment. (Maximum of 8 participants)

This program is for anyone who has some tai chi experience and wants to improve their physical, emotional and spiritual balance. Based on yang style tai chi, this class is easy on your joints and has an emphasis on balance, agility, breathing and inner peacefulness. No equipment or special gear required—just comfortable clothes. (Maximum 13 participants)

Teen Weightlifting


Is your teen interested in learning how to lift weights? Is your teen trying to make that school sport team this year? This 8-week program is for teens ready to take their fitness to the next level. Lead by Ben Teets, an ACE certified Personal Trainer with a background in physical therapy, teens will learn proper form and techniques for strength training. (Maximum of 10 participants.)

Improve your overall strength, flexibility, coordination and balance with this unique workout. Learn better posture and more efficient movement, and experience relief from pain associated with physical imbalances. This high energy class will include a variety of different Group Exercise formats including Yoga, Zumba, Pilates, Hip Hop, Muscle Conditioning, Cardio, and Kickboxing.
