Courses

Shallow Water Aerobics

Multiple days and times available

Ages 18+

This water aerobics class is great for adults looking for a fun, low-impact physical activity. During class you will perform various movements in shallow water to improve joint flexibility, range of motion, and muscle strength to the sound of up-beat music!

Tabata Training with Amy!

Multiple Wednesday Morning Classes Available

Join Amy for a shallow water Tabata workout. Her Tabata workout consists of 30 minutes of interval training that is a total body cardio blast! She will balance out this high energy workout with 15 minutes of mindful stretching designed to improve muscular flexibility and joint range of motion.

Deep Water Aerobics

Multiple days and times available

Ages 18+

This water aerobics class is great for adults looking for a fun, low-impact physical activity. During class you will perform various movements in 8-10 feet of water to improve joint flexibility, range of motion, and muscle strength. Aqua belts are provided and are required to participate.

WATERinMOTION

Mondays 8:45 - 9:30 AM

Ages 18+

WATERinMOTION® is the groundbreaking aqua exercise workout that provides a low impact, high-energy challenge for participants of all ages, skill and fitness levels. Jump in and make a splash with this dynamic cardiovascular full body workout. With land equivalent intensity, fantastic sing-along quality music, and passionate instructors, enjoy the pure fun of this 45-minute water extravaganza! Aqua-skeptics will forever become aqua-FANS when they “Catch the Wave”!

Aqua Zumba

Wednesdays 7:10 - 7:55 PM

Ages 18+

Perfect For those looking to make a splash by adding a low-impact, high-energy aquatic exercise to their
fitness routine. There is less impact on your joints during an Aqua Zumba ®  class so you can really let
loose. Water creates natural resistance, which means every step is more challenging and helps tone
your muscles. Aqua Zumba ®  blends the Zumba ®  philosophy with water resistance, for one pool party you
should not miss!

S'WET

Thursdays 8:00 - 8:45 PM

Ages 18+

S’WET™ is a Structured Water Exercise Training designed to incorporate unique blocks focused on H.I.I.T., strength and advanced cardio training, plus a splash of fun, that will challenge your entire body and make you S’WET!

Interested in becoming certified? We are now offering blended learning for the following American Red Cross courses.

Contact the Aquatics office at (804) 545-8640 for the next available class or to set up a customized class that fits your schedule needs. The class certification is good for Two years from the completion date. Classes have a minimum of 4 participants
