We invite all 4- and 5-year-olds to have a great lunchtime art experience with the art specialist from Kids’ Place! Each day will be a different activity, feel free to sign up for any or all dates!
Join us for After School Art! This six week after-school art class offers new and engaging projects each week. Join friends, old and new, for painting, drawing, mixed media, and other art projects.
We invite all 4- and 5-year-olds to have a great afternoon hand-building clay experience with the ceramics specialist from Kids’ Place! Each week will compile on hand-building skills starting with pinch pots, moving onto coil-building, and then onto slab building. After making pieces in each style, the last week will be spent glazing and decorating their work. The goal of the course wil be for each student to take home utilitarian pieces made in each style.
 This course will cover the basics of throwing for students who have little-to-no experience. Their goals for the class will be determined individually and broken down into skills to work on each week, so they can end the course by taking home their initial goal (ie. if someone wanted to learn how to throw a mug or a bowl and decorate it).Â
After each student hones their skills, the last week will be spent glazing and decorating their work.
