Located on 110 acres in the lush, green countryside of Goochland County, Camp Hilbert invites kids grades K through 10 to explore the outdoors.
From the morning flagpole assembly to canoeing sessions on beautiful Lake Rosalie, Camp Hilbert is the setting for the summer of a lifetime.
Here, campers have a schedule filled with fun, healthy activities led by trained specialists—and the camp’s sparkling outdoor pool is the perfect place to cool off. Your kids will come home smiling, and in some cases, a little bit muddy!
Camp Hilbert offers free transportation (pick-up and drop-off locations on both the Southside and West End of Richmond), a child-to-staff ratio of 8:1, and free before-care at the Weinstein JCC from 7:30 a.m. until the bus departs. After-care is also available at the Weinstein JCC from bus arrival until until 6:00 p.m. (there is a small weekly charge for after-care).
Registration for all camps is currently closed. Please email Leslie LaBrie, Camp Director, for more information.
Even though our summer is filled with fun, safety is our number one priority. Our safety measures include: Red Cross-trained lifeguards and certified Water Safety Instructors leading instructional swim, continued application of sunscreen, regular water breaks, altered schedules on extremely hot days, and a Certified EMT on staff for safety response. All staff members are CPR/First Aid-trained and are required to pass a background check.
At Camp Hilbert and the Weinstein JCC, we are committed to meeting the needs of all our campers. To determine eligibility and to begin developing support strategies to help ensure your camper’s success at camp, a meeting with our Director of Inclusion and Support Services is required. Contact Melissa Bunce at 545-8658 or email@example.com if you have questions or to schedule a meeting.
