Camp Hilbert

For campers entering grades K-10

Drop off times will vary by drop off locations.

For more than 76 years, Camp Hilbert has provided intentional summer experiences rooted in Jewish values to families in the surrounding communities. Nestled in the woods of Goochland County, our beautiful 110-acre campus offers an ideal day camp setting for outdoor exploration, community building, skill development, and the creation of lifelong friendships and memories.

Campers enjoy a wide variety of specialist-led activities, including Art, Performing Arts, Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), Athletics, Boating, and more. All Rishonim, Noar, and Ruach groups participate in both instructional swim and free swim each day, while our Bet unit enjoys daily free swim. Each unit also has unique opportunities to extend the camp experience through late stays, overnights, and camping trips. Our Leadership in Training (LIT) program is designed to develop leadership skills in our oldest campers within the Camp Hilbert environment.

LITs engage in hands-on learning alongside camp staff while exploring topics such as leadership styles, workplace communication, résumé writing, and mock interviews—preparing them for future roles both at camp and beyond.

Summer is for kids.

Camp Hilbert offers campers in grades K–10 an immersive outdoor experience filled with exploration, adventure, and connection. From gathering each morning at the flagpole to paddling across the peaceful waters of Lake Rosalie, every day unfolds in a setting designed to inspire curiosity and confidence.

Nature is woven into everything we do. Campers spend their days engaged in active, hands-on experiences led by trained specialists—learning new skills, building friendships, and embracing the joy of being outdoors.

Whether they’re exploring the woods, creating art, performing on stage, or cooling off in our sparkling outdoor pool, campers return home happy, energized, and sometimes delightfully muddy.
