If you are an artist seeking an opportunity to exhibit your work and share your unique vision, we invite you to submit your artwork for consideration in our upcoming art exhibit. We welcome a diverse range of artistic styles and mediums that explore Jewish themes, history, traditions, and contemporary Jewish experiences.
To be considered, please complete the Art Submission Request Form at the link below. The form will provide us with important details about your artwork, including your artistic background and a description of your submitted pieces. Additionally, please include high-quality images or a portfolio showcasing your work.

Join the community at the Weinstein JCC as we welcome Idan Chabasov, the “Challah Prince,” a famous Challah Instagram influencer for an interactive challah experience. Idan combines breathwork, mindfulness, and meditation as he works the challah dough to create intentional masterpieces of braided, edible art.
As we prepare for the Yamimm Noraim (10 days of awe) take a moment to reflect on the cyclical nature of the Jewish calendar. Come and create a sweet round challah to take home to bake and enjoy, in honor of the upcoming Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah.

Originally created 2,500 years ago as a unilateral marriage contract stating what a groom would provide for his bride, the ketubah evolved from the tenth century onward into a richly decorated expression of love and commitment. In connection with the book, Ketubah Renaissance: The Artful Modern Revival of the Jewish Marriage Contract by Michael Shapiro, founder of Ketubah.com, the world’s leading Ketubah publisher, this exhibit illuminates the contemporary revival of the marriage contract and displays the beautiful and innovative ketubot created by local artisans. Books will be available for purchase.
Born in Ethiopia, raised in Israel, and currently living in New York City, Beejhy Barhany is the owner of Tsion Café, a renowned Ethiopian-Israeli restaurant in Harlem. She is the author of Gursha: Timeless Recipes for Modern Kitchens, a cookbook celebrating the timeless recipes and rich history of Ethiopian Jewry.
Beejhy will offer a cooking demo and discussion about Beta Israel traditions and experiences, including the upcoming holiday of Sigd, while we enjoy delicious samples from her cookbook, Gursha, prepared by the chefs and owners of local Richmond restaurant, JewFro. Kosher dietary laws observed.
This exhibition addresses the important religious significance of water, or “mayim,” in Judaism, its critical need to be protected for human and environmental health, and the unique connection all humanity has to the finite, necessary resource.
The Israeli and Jewish Film Festival presents a diverse and inspiring lineup of award-winning films and engaging, educational programming that connects to both Jewish and Israeli stories. The full film festival line-up will be announced in November!
