2024 Weinstein JCC Annual Awards

Arenstein Family Excellence in Youth Service Award

This annual award, to be presented at the annual meeting of the Carole and Marcus Weinstein Jewish Community Center, recognizes the outstanding contribution of a member of the Jewish community between the ages of 12 and 19. The selection process shall honor a candidate’s contributions in furthering the spirit and traditions of the Jewish faith, as well as the candidate’s active expressions of the Jewish precepts of tikkun olam and tzedakah. The award shall be given to such an individual based primarily on their contributions within the Jewish community, but not without regard to contributions and service to individuals, groups and causes in the general community.

The award shall carry with it a $250 scholarship to be applied to any bone fide program, offered by a Jewish service organization, which furthers Jewish education, community service or leadership development. The $250 shall come from the Rhona and Ric Arenstein Youth Enrichment Fund.
