This series of classes is designed for those who have previously taken Cheri’s Foundations (Beginner) Class series or have had prior Yang Style training. Through repetition of the 24-form, emphasis will be placed on filling the movements with efficiency and power. Our weekly practices will improve our understanding of each movement, applications, and transitions.

Dress comfortably with loose, comfortable clothing and flat shoes with minimal tread (ex. Keds, Vans, Sperrys) to prevent sticking.

Cheri Maffei-Wolff has trained in several Tai Chi forms and has successfully competed in National Tournaments with Open Hand forms and the partner practice of Push Hands. She subscribes to the practice of Tai Chi as an essential way to calm the mind and connect the body. Cheri has been teaching in Richmond for nearly 20 years.
