Season Highlights

What Hands Can Do – July 27 – August 10
In the face of devastation, creation becomes an act of courage.

What Hands Can Do invites you into a space where memory lives in form, sound, word, and motion. This exhibit was born from a journey to Israel in December 2024, one year after the October 7, 2023 attacks. What I witnessed — the pain, the resilience, the yearning for wholeness — demanded to be transformed into action.

The Art of Challah Braiding- Sunday, September 14 from 4:30 – 6:30
Join the community at the Weinstein JCC as we welcome Idan Chabasov, the “Challah Prince,” a famous Challah Instagram influencer for an interactive challah experience. Idan combines breathwork, mindfulness, and meditation as he works the challah dough to create intentional masterpieces of braided, edible art.

As we prepare for the Yamimm Noraim (10 days of awe) take a moment to reflect on the cyclical nature of the Jewish calendar. Come and create a sweet round challah to take home to bake and enjoy, in honor of the upcoming Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah.

Brushstrokes of Tradition: RTA Students Reflect on Jewish Artists Through Art – August 21 – September 25
