Active adults ages 55+ are invitied to join us Thursday, September 15 for a fun-filled day trip to historic Annapolis, Maryland. We’ll start off with a visit to the United States Naval Academy for a guided, walking tour of this beautiful National Historic Landmark. Great moments and heroes in American Navy and Marine Corps history are represented throughout in statues, paintings, ships, and artifacts.

Next, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch, on the waterfront at Carrol’s Creek Cafe. Lunch will consist of jumbo lump crab cake or grilled filet mignon. Entrees will be served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, fresh rolls, house salad, dessert, and a beverage. Vegetarian, chicken, and kosher options are available as well.

After lunch we will travel a short distance to the city dock area for a 40-minute, narrated cruise of the Annapolis Harbor aboard the Harbor Queen. We’ll hear about Annapolis’ role as a historic seaport, the region’s waterways, and even catch a glimpse of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
