Do I have to be Jewish to belong to the JCC?
No, in fact over 70% of our members are not Jewish. We welcome all faiths. Everyone is welcome!
What is the difference between Full and General membership?
Access to the fitness center is included in the Full membership, but not in the General membership.
I’m only interested in the fitness center. Can I pay for just that as my membership?
No. The fitness center can only be added onto a General membership and is not available as a separate membership option.
Is there someone who can show me how to use the equipment?
Upon joining our fitness center, all members receive a personal training session and informative session with one of our personal trainers.
Can children under 13 use the Fitness Center?
No, for safety reasons, children under 13 are not permitted in the Fitness Center.
What are the rules for members aged 13 to 15?
Members aged 13 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult and complete a comprehensive orientation with our fitness staff.
Do you recommend personal training for young members?
Yes, we recommend hiring one of our personal trainers for at least three sessions for members aged 13 to 15 who are starting a weight training program. This helps minimize injury and set exercise goals.
When do members gain adult status?
At age 16, members are considered adults and are subject to adult guidelines.
How long does it take to hear back about membership after submitting my application?
Online applicants typically hear back within 1-2 business days.
Does the JCC offer month to month membership plans?
Outside of the occasional promotional memberships, all JCC membership contracts are 12 months.
