Weinstein JCC Community Guidelines

Welcome to the Carole and Marcus Weinstein Jewish Community Center! We’re here to offer top-notch educational, physical, and spiritual wellness programs for people of all ages and abilities, all while embracing our Jewish values and culture. At the Weinstein JCC, we take pride in being a safe and inclusive space where our community can come together, connect, and thrive.

Code of Conduct

Our culture is rooted in our mission and values, which form the foundation of our Code of Conduct

M’tzuyanut (Excellence): We aim to be our best in everything we do..

Ha’ch’lah lah (Inclusion): Everyone is welcome, respected, and a valued part of our community.

Chi’nuch (Education): We’re all about learning, especially when it connects to our Jewish traditions.

Ach’rayut (Responsibility): We’re committed to making our community a better place and meeting the needs of everyone we serve.

Guidelines

To keep things fun, safe, and friendly for all, we ask that everyone—members, guests, participants, and staff—abides by a few simple guidelines:

  1. Check-In: If you’re 8 or older, please have your membership active and a photo on file. Don’t forget to check in at the Front Desk every time you visit!
  2. Supervision: Kids under 8 need to stick close to a parent or guardian. Those 8 and up can explore on their own, but they’re expected to follow the same rules as everyone else. If not, we might need to give the parents a quick call.
  3. Play by the Rules: Whether you’re hitting the gym, pool, or just hanging out, please follow the posted schedules and rules for each area. Dress for the activity you’re doing, and remember our guest policy—no more than 3 visits per guest per year, and they need to be with a member.
  4. Speak Up: If you see anything suspicious or inappropriate, let a staff member know right away.
  5. Be Kind: Treat others with respect and dignity. No disruptive behavior, such as:
    • Angry or vulgar language, swearing, or shouting
    • Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation in any form
    • Physical contact in a hostile or threatening way
    • Theft or property damage
    • Carrying weapons
    • Using tobacco, vaping, alcohol (outside authorized events), or illegal substances
    • Loitering or bothering others
    • Letting unauthorized visitors into the facility

We want everyone to have a great experience here, so the Weinstein JCC team, including our CEO, Membership Director, and Board of Directors, reserve the right to ask anyone not following these guidelines to leave. In some cases, memberships may be suspended or terminated if necessary.

Thanks for being part of our amazing community and helping us keep it a safe and welcoming place for everyone!
