Battie and Lazer, a young Jewish ultra-Orthodox couple receive an unmarked envelope with pictures of Lazer kissing another man. He tells her that the pictures are fabricated and that he is blackmailed by the Wolf’s gang who are terrorizing the ultra-Orthodox community. Unfortunately for Battie this is only partially true.

Dr. Jeremy Novich, PsyD
Dr. Jeremy Novich is the Clinical Director at JQY, which supports LGBTQ youth (ages 13–23) from historically unaccepting communities. He earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from Long Island University–Post, with a focus on serious mental illness.
Dr. Novich brings particular expertise in the intersection of mental health, queerness, and the Orthodox Jewish community, and also specializes in working with individuals and families affected by substance use.
In addition to his work at JQY, Dr. Novich maintains a private practice, offering compassionate care across a range of concerns.
