Israeli-born pianist Guy Mintus blends classical finesse, jazz spontaneity, and rockstar energy. Alongside trio members Alon Near and Philippe Lemm, he performs bold reimaginings of Gershwin classics from their album A Gershwin Playground, featuring hits like “Summertime” and “Rhapsody in Blue.” 

Hailed by DownBeat Magazine for taking listeners “on a rocket ride,” Mintus has earned the Leonard Bernstein Award, the Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award, and Montreux Jazz Festival’s piano prize. A soloist at venues like Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and Jazz at Lincoln Center, he has led the Guy Mintus Trio since 2016, with international tours to the Montreal Jazz Festival, Dizzy’s Club, Jazz à Juan, Mezzrow, and more.
