Recreation Programs

Sports can be a lot more fun when you’re participating as a group. At the Weinstein JCC, we bring children and adults opportunities for healthy fun, with classes and rec teams covering a huge range of sports activities.

For preschoolers, the Weinstein JCC is a great place to get moving! Our Lunch and Fun programs include classes in aquatics, fitness, recreation and dance for children ages three and up.

Children ages 6 - 12 can choose from a range of recreational and instructional dance programs, swimming, leagues and classes, including basketball, gymnastics, soccer, flag football and more.

Adults can meet friends and enjoy pick-up basketball, pickleball, running clubs and many other gym and fitness activities.

To learn more, see our class list below or visit our Activity Finder.

All-Star Soccer - Spring

In this instructional league, participants will learn the basics of soccer. Staff coaches run the sessions and children are place in small groups (not on specific teams) and take part in age-appropriate activities such as basic soccer skills, movement, agility, and small sided games.

Jr. NBA is a program where children from preschool to 5th grade can focus on the fundamentals of basketball including dribbling, passing, shooting, lay ups, rebounding, and defense. This program instills teamwork, good sportsmanship, skill development, safety and most importantly, FUN! The start of the season will begin with a skill evaluation to get a sense of each child’s skill level on April 11. Practices and games will be held weekly on Sundays starting Sunday, April 18. Safety protocols are in place for the season, so numbers are limited.
