Fitness Videos

Whether you’re a beginning exerciser who needs help getting started or someone who wants to add some variety to your fitness routine, our Fitness Video Library offers a variety of workouts and moves to choose from. Here you can find movements that target specific areas of the body as well as whole-body workouts. Check back as new videos are regularly added to keep your workouts fun and interesting!

Group Exercise Classes

Class #1: CxWorx

This fantastic, FREE core class consists of a challenging 30 minute workout that features a mix of isolated exercises (like crunches or leg extensions) which target specific muscles and integrated moves that use one or two ore more muscle groups together. Stop by and join Linda for a class on Mondays at 6:35 PM, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays at 10:35 AM, or Wednesdays at 5:30 PM!

Class #2: Insanity

This week's Fitness Friday video features another one of our group exercise classes...Insanity! Below, instructor Torski Arnold demonstrates several of the exercises performed in a typical class, as well as modifications for different fitness levels. Stop by the Center to try this cardio-based, total body conditioning, high-intensity class. A few benefits of Insanity--members of any fitness level can participate, and it burns more calories than any of our other group exercise classes!

Class #3: Team Training

Taught by certified personal trainers, Team Training consists of small group training classes that involve high-intensity workouts which include a mix of cardio and strength training and utilize TRX, medicine balls, agility ladders, kettlebells and MORE. Classes are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 AM - try one out the next time you're at the Center!

Class #4: Cycle

Cycle is one of our more popular Group Exercise classes--it uses interval and cardio training to get your heart rate up while working your key leg muscles. With 12 cycle classes offered each week here at the Weinstein JCC, there's sure to be one that'll fit your schedule!

Class #5: BodyPump

BodyPump is a barbell class that strengthens your entire body and involves endurance training where muscle and music collide. The best part? BodyPump, like most of our classes, has modifications for every fitness level. Even if you're just starting out, come give it a try--Instructor Sarah Paxton will be happy to show you the ropes!

Class #6: Cycle - A Quick Bike Fit

Ever wanted to try one of our Cycle classes but were worried about adjusting the bike to where it's right for you? Check out this Fitness Friday video for a few tips from Charles, one of our Cycle instructors, about doing a "quick fit" on a cycle bike. He'll walk you through changing the seat height and position as well as the height and reach of the handlebars. Follow his tips, and you'll be ready for class!

Class #7: Zumba

Rainy weather got you down? Looking for a fun way to pump up your attitude and burn a few calories too? Try one of our Zumba classes! Zumba is a 60-minute fitness class featuring Latin music and dance rhythms that's sure to add a bounce to your step. We offer several classes each week, so stop by and get your groove on!

Class #8: CIZE

Looking for a way to spice up your workout routine? Try our NEW Group Ex class, CIZE! Everyone can move to the beat with these calorie sculpting routines that incorporate fresh dance moves and fun music. Join Toi on Wednesdays at 5:15 and CIZE it up!

Class #9: Mindful Yoga

Looking for a way to relieve some stress? Try Mindful Yoga! Join Nora on Thursdays at 12:15 for this relaxing class where you'll stretch your muscles and practice some breathing techniques that will add a little calm and mindfulness to your daily routine.

Class #10: ZumbaStep

This class combines the toning and strengthening of step aerobics with the fitness-party that only Zumba brings to the floor. Swing by on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 to work up a sweat and get your Zumba groove on with Jill!

Class #11: Barre Pilates

Did you know that there are more ways to burn calories than just using a cardio machine? Our Group Exercise classes are a great way to incinerate some calories and have fun too! If you're looking for a new class to add to your workout routine, try Barre Pilates! In this 45-minute workout class, you'll use techniques from Dance, Pilates and Yoga that will help you tone, define and chisel your whole body. It's the perfect combination of strength and flexibility with an added cardiovascular element utilizing the barre. Give it a try--we offer it on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays!

Class #12: Cycle - Performance Fit

Do you enjoy Cycle classes? Are you ready to take your cycling to the next level? One way to do just that is by having an instructor help you with a performance fit to your bike. Any of our Cycle instructors, including Charles, will be happy to help you determine the best seat and handlebar position to maximize your riding. Stop by the Center anytime and get fit!

Class #13: BodyCombat

Looking to add a little "umph" to your workouts? Try BodyCombat! Each 60-minute class (taught by the lovely Sarah Paxton!) consists of a high-energy, martial arts inspired workout that is totally non-contact. So swing by and punch, kick and strike your way to fitness with this fun class on Tuesdays at 9:20!

Class #14: BodyPump Express

Looking for a great way to burn off some of those Hamantaschen calories?? Try BodyPump Express! This 45-minute class happens every Friday at 12:30 and is a great way to squeeze in a workout during your lunch break. So come condition your muscles with Fitness FUNatic Jill Carrillo TODAY and head into this holiday weekend feeling great!

Class #15: Gentle Yoga

Did you know that we offer several different yoga classes here at the Weinstein JCC each week? If you're looking for a class that practices yoga at a slower pace and is perfect for any fitness level, Gentle Yoga is just for you! Join Michele for class on Tuesdays & Fridays, and stop by to try some of our other ones too!

Class #16: WERQ

Have you tried our WERQ Group Exercise class?? It's a fiercely fun 60-minute dance fitness class based on pop, rock, and hip hop music, and it's taught by the one and only Fitness FUNatic Jill Carrillo! Swing by the Center and sweat to the beat with us on Mondays at 5:30 or Thursdays at 6:30--you'll be glad you did!

Class #17: Fit & Fab

Nothing like a fun Group Exercise class to cheer you up on this rainy Friday! Fit & Fab is one of our low-impact fitness classes that incorporates cardio work, muscle sculpting and some toe-tapping music too! Offered at 10:30am Sunday through Friday, it's a class open to members of any fitness level. We hope you'll swing by and try it!
