Participants learn and practice survival floating and learn to swim front crawl and elementary backstroke at rudimentary proficiency levels. We begin introduction of the scissors and dolphin kicks and extend the time duration for treading water. Participants also learn rules for headfirst entries and begin to learn to enter the water headfirst from a seated position at poolside. As in all levels, new and previously addressed water safety topics are included. Participants who successfully complete Level 3 have achieved basic water competency in a pool environment. Pre-Fins Group

Pre-Fins Novice
Pre-fins is a great way to keep your child active this year while introducing them to Dolphin Club swim team program! Practices are ran as a hybrid between a swim team practice and group swim lessons. This gives the swimmers more personal attention from our coaches to improve their strokes, while also giving them a taste of the competitive swimming world. We will be holding fun intra-squad meets at the JCC throughout the year. The Pre-fins program emphasizes learning, fitness, and fun!

Swimmers must be at least 5 years or older and be able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards) continuously using legal freestyle, backstroke and either breaststroke or butterfly (at least 3 of the 4 strokes).

There are limited available spots as we will be practicing social distancing.

Practices will take place twice a week on Sundays from 2-2:45 PM and Fridays from 4:45-5:30 PM

In addition to registering below, please fill out our Pre-Fin Registration Form.
