This 8-week series of classes is a hybrid blend of Pilates, yoga, and fitness that emphasizes core strength and body alignment. Taught by master Pilates Instructor, Karen Roodman, focus will be placed on abdominal and back strength, pelvic stability, hip mobility, and postural awareness. Karen holds a master’s in Kinesiology and has a science-infused teaching style that will help participants understand and practice ideal alignment, form, and function. Pilates props including, foam rollers, light weights, resistance bands, rings, and balls, will be incorporated to diversify and amplify this dynamic mat experience that can adapted to suit individual abilities.
