Research indicates that postural changes begin in early adulthood and increase in significance with age. There are simple and practical things you can do to remain upright, mobile and active.
In this two-part workshop lead by Karen Roodman, MS in Kinesiology and Pilates practitioner, learn how to practice proper body mechanics, improve balance, and increase strength to support your spine. Each class will be a combination of lecture
and practical exercise to teach you how to sit, stand and move with a taller spine, stronger core, and mindfulness in maintaining musculoskeletal health.

Participants should wear comfortable clothing. Community mats and foam rollers will be available for use during class, or participants may bring their own.
All sessions will be held in the KC Dance Studio.
