An intimate, supportive group for adults with special needs
Instructor: Shari Menlowe-Barck
The Adult Circle of Friends is a social and recreational group for adults ages 22+ with mild special needs. The focus of this group is to learn new skills and make friends. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the group currently meets once a month at the JCC doing indoor and outdoor programming as the weather allows. Social distancing is required and only a limited number of attendees are allowed to follow current state mandates.
This group is intimate and supportive by design. Participants need to be able to transition well into new settings and feel comfortable in public places.
Spring session runs March–May.
$25 JCC members per event
$30 non-members per event
RSVPs to each event are required. Contact Shari Menlowe-Barck at 804-545-8611 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
