We offer a variety of opportunities for seniors to come together and socialize. Come sing, play games, drink coffee, learn or just come enjoy the company. Whatever your interest, we have it covered! 

Innovative Art Class with Resident Artists Elizabeth Scholder - NEW!

If you are interested in expanding your mind and senses in the Art World, this class is for you! Taught by a very talented artist and teacher with 25+ years of experience, Elizabeth will be using a variety of mediums to teach the beginner artist to enjoy and participate in new projects while showing the accomplished artist how to use new methods and broadening their approach to painting and drawing.

This will be a 2-hour class on Mondays:
November 4
November 18
November 25
December 2

*Minimum of 5 students needed to hold class.


The 5400 Club

This group, consisting of retired and semi-retired men and women, meets each Monday throughout the year. Each meeting features an outstanding guest speaker. Membership in the 5400 Club is open to all male/female Weinstein JCC members. This group is a self-governing organization with its own board, assisted by a Weinstein JCC staff advisor.

Grand Tones

Preparations are always under way for performances at nursing homes, organizations, hospitals, churches, synagogues and civic functions. The Grand Tones are now over 50 years running under the direction of volunteer Betsy Cockriel and are joined by pianist Frances Gordon. If you love music but are not a singer, you are still welcome to join us just to listen, have lunch and socialize! 

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Rehearsal time
12:00 – 12:30 PM: Lunch (Bring your own and join us, dessert provided.)

The Grand Group

This program meets every Tuesday year round, and is for adult men and women. Activities include entertainment, guest speakers, current events and intergenerational programs. Many of the holidays are celebrated, including a Chanukah party with the preschool children and a Sweetheart Day luncheon.

Cost is $28 for the year. Membership is open to all Weinstein JCC Members.

Thursdays on the Move

This program offers a fun-filled day trip to area museums, restaurants, sight seeing, etc. Destination suggestions from participants are appreciated! Transportation from the Weinstein JCC will be provided. Cost of trip and length of trip will depend on destination.


Silver Sneakers Chanukah Party

Join us for this special event for members of the Weinstein JCC Silver Sneakers Program. Celebrate the "Festival Of Lights", meet with our staff and other members, hear about our programs and enjoy delicious Chanukah food and dessert.

Active Adult & Preschool Chanukah Celebration

Join this fun intergenerational luncheon with the oldest Weinstein JCC preschoolers and the Center's senior adults as we celebrate Chanukah with a homemade holiday lunch and share songs and traditions of the holiday.

The Better Together Project

This special program brings together older adults from the Jewish Community and 7th and 8th grade students from Rudlin Torah Academy. Each month, the group will meet for an innovative intergenerational program including learning, a creative project and a light snack. The goal is to share and build relationships between the generations.
